Connecting And Setting The Gas
Flush Option On Vacuum Sealers
American International Electric Vacuum Sealers

Using the optional gas flush accessory on your vacuum sealer

Connecting the gas flush

  • 1. Locate the gas inlet port. Remove any plug or cap over it.
  • 2. Connect the appropriate fitting for your gas supply line. Most gas flush inlets are 1/4" NPT.
  • 3. Attach your gas supply line and set the feed pressure to no more than 15 psi.

Pressures above 15 psi can cause the vacuum bags or pouches to be blown out of the sealing jaws of many units.

Adjusting gas flush for proper operation

  • 1. Move the switch to the gas/vac position(if available)
  • 2. Set the gas timer for 2 seconds.
  • 3. Position a bag or pouch around the nozzle.
  • 4. Depress activation switch.
  • 5. The unit should fill the bag with gas, then vacuum out the gas/air mixture and finally seal the bag.
  • 6. Adjust the gas and vacuum timers until you acheive the results required for your product.

Some vacuum sealers have the ability to vacuum first and then fill the bag with gas. For this the mode switch would need to be set in the vac/gas position.

To acheive vacuum only with the gas flush installed, set the unit to gas/vac and set the gas timer to zero.
